Dear Parents and Students,
We are proud to announce the first edition of the Smrti Academy Model United Nations (SMUN) conference, organized by Smrti Academy. This conference aims to provide an enriching and inclusive experience for students, fostering their understanding of global affairs and developing essential skills for the future. We invite all interested parents and students to be a part of this exciting event. As a prelude to Smrti Academy Model United Nations, the school conducted a free training workshop for all middle and high school students. This workshop served to orient them with the working of Model United Nations, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident for the conference. Our dedicated teachers have been guiding and supporting students throughout their preparation within the school premises.

AGENDAS
1. United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC): Tackling organ trafficking and illegal transplantations.
2. World Health Organization (WHO)(Junior Committee): Combating drug trafficking.
3. United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW): Prevention and eradication of all forms of violence against women and girls.
4. Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC): Deliberation on the non-proliferation of Bacteriological (Biological) and Chemical Weapons with special emphasis on BWTC.
The dress code for the conference is as follows
Boys: Western formals (shirt, trousers, and formal shoes)
Girls: Western formals (shirt, trousers/skirt, and formal shoes) Please note that the dress code is essential to maintain a professional and respectful environment during the conference
Experienced MUNners from reputed schools will facilitate and run the conference, ensuring a high-quality and engaging experience for all
participants.

The Conference Rules –
1. Registrations open on a first come – first serve basis.
2. Position Papers are to be submitted to mun@smrtiacademy.com within a time period of 7 days after getting the allotments.
3. Students from grade VII-XII will be allowed to participate.
6. Breakfast, Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Prizes and Accolades:
• Best Delegate: 5000 INR
• Honorable Delegate: 3000 INR
• Best School Delegation: 20000 INR
• Best Position Paper: 1000 INR
